Chuck stall is a common fault in CNC lathe machining and the main cause of machining accuracy errors. Therefore, we must strictly control the speed and stability of the chuck. The chuck speed is not important, it is mainly selected based on the cutting diameter of the workpiece being processed and the degree of eccentricity. It is not a problem for a single chuck to rotate 1000 revolutions per minute or more under balance guarantee. The hydraulic valve has three rotatable switches. One is to adjust the hydraulic pressure and pressure level. One is to adjust the clamping speed. One is to adjust the release speed. The tailgate is the same. If it is a simple hydraulic system, adjust the rotary valve on the hydraulic station. If the tool holder keeps rotating, the tool position signal cannot be found. It is likely that the wire connecting the tool holder to 24V or 0V is broken. Temporary installation of hydraulic chuck, if the control contacts provided by the system are not used, changing the system parameters to chuck control function will be ineffective. If the control contacts provided by the system (loose, tight, and switch wires) are used, check the circuit. To explain the system type.
Check if the hydraulic solenoid valve is in good condition and if the IO signal controlling the solenoid valve is output correctly. If the solenoid valve is controlled through an intermediate relay, check if the corresponding relay is properly engaged and if there is contact resistance at the contacts. If there are spare parts or if there are similar components on the machine tool, try exchanging them for testing. Try adjusting it yourself to make it as large as possible without deformation. If the clamping force cannot be too high and deformation occurs, adjust the pressure to a very low level, then reduce the cutting depth, decrease the feed rate, and increase the speed. Perhaps when the CNC system brakes, the braking time is controlled based on the spindle speed. If the encoder is broken, the CNC system will assume that the spindle speed is zero and there is no need to brake. The spindle naturally stops, so it stops slowly.
